Elder Wasden: District Leader

Whats going on fam! boy i know i have the same frase every week but its true, but what a great week! this week we have been searching for a house all week. we finally found it and I'm pretty sure ill have pictures of us in it soon when we move in it! i love being district leader because i literally have the best district here in campeche. well this week, we also went to the house of the family hurtado which were the family in the photos last week, but we had a family home evening with them, after i brought my buzzers so we could cut nelsons hair, in which we did. half way, his mom took the buzzers and put on the smallest size and just totally cut all of his hair off in one spot on accident, his reaction was the best, and so we had to shave the rest off, but cleaned my hands because that was not me, jaja. this week we also visited some members that live in our area. we went to the familys house called the family chickerdenza. they are such a funny energetic family. Friday, elder tousa and i also taught English classes to some of the people of Mexico. us old companions as teachers, was the best. we also have this awesome hermano in the ward who is a returned missionary who spoils us. he took us to his house and we had a little pizza party on the roof. little cesars and i finally had a drink of Dr. Pepper after a long time. i have know clue where he found it, but he has connections and i love him! jaja. Saturday night, there was an activity in the ward for the youth and also a family history training demo. and so we helped with the family history and us 4 elders went outside and played soccer against the jovenes. I'm not going to tell you who one because I'm humble... okay we lost, but we beat them at basketball! jaja. Sundays, after church, we had a big family home evening at a recent conversos house and we showed the movie of lehi and the tree of life, it was a great experience for everyone. when we were getting ready to leave, an hermana came up to us and asked us to come to her house and give her son a blessing, and so we did. we go where ever our priesthood duty calls. and here the rain is starting to come, right now its the point where it just rains a lot in a little bit of time and for the rest of the day its blazing hot. like it pours down rain in the morning as we are walking and like 10 mins later it stops and the whole day we are walking soaking wet, i like it and think its fun but my comp doesn't like it too much. haha. sorry i don't really have much to say this week, but i hope all is going well back at home. cuidase and talk to ya next week.
