Teaching with Paradise's Elder Parrott and a little "Soccer Happy"

woah mom! how come you don't have my beautiful picture on the missionary countdown calendar! its all good i forgive you, this week was such a great week like i always say and boy do i love campeche where the dog bark every minute of the day and night, but i cant help but just say how much i love being a missionary and just everything about it from spiritual experiences to just small funny stuff that that happens and things we see. but Monday we went shopping and i bought this big thing of eggs, we then took a bus back to the house and this buss ride was like the longest bus ride because my eggs broke and kept dripping in the bus as i stood up front next to the bus driver and held them over the steps so they would drip out the door. but as they were dripping i apologized and told him that i wanted to invite him for breakfast but i didnt have any eggs left. he thought that was funny, but this week i ended up fasting! jaja. Tuesday when we were looking for a members house we contacted and met this woman who happened to be a less active who moved here 20 years ago from Mexico (Mexico city). after we found the house, and this member we taught had a dog as big as my horse that i don't have. but as i entered the dog come sprinting at me while I'm praying to god to at least let me finish my mission, but turned out to be really nice. its a great Dane dog. and she loved me, i also got to ride it, okay i didn't get to but i wanted too soo bad! also Wednesday, we ate at this members house and lets just say i got to know what a chicken foot tastes like. it actually wasn't that bad. Thursday after coming back from lunch, we passed by the park by the church and started talking to this guy who was just sitting down alone but we found out he is an alcoholic, and he just wanted to change his life around and be the father his family needs, we taught then sat right there and had a mini lesson with him and sang and said a little prayer, and we took down his information and passed it to the other missionaries in the other area. following we had a meeting in the church and after when we took the bus home i look back at my companion in the bus and he does the cheesiest smile while showing me an onion in which i have no clue where he found an onion. boy do i love my companion and his randomness. Friday we ate with this family and in the family are 2 young men and with them we have this joking relationship. but i was curious when they asked me Sunday what was my least favorite food was Sunday, and i said soup and so this Friday we literally ate 3 different kinds of soups for lunch. oh how i love their sense of humor! :I jajaja, gotta love those guys. Friday at the end of the day, elder tousa and i taught our English classes in the church, its actually really fun! Saturday we had this awesome investigator who we contacted 2 weeks ago and he is so awesome his names victor and he was in a tragic accident a couple years ago and he told us there was a reason why god let him live but he didn't know what it was and he was just waiting for it. but whenever we teach him he feels something that he never felt before and everything started making sense to him. he is awesome! yesterday we had church, and elder parrott (parrotts from paradise) and i taught the youth ages 16-17. and the topic we taught was dating, so that was pretty fun, and boy did a lot of questions come up in that lesson regarding us. then our fun energetic bishop came in to ask us something and ended up sharing a couple stories from his youth. boy do i love our bishop he has a big sense of humor and is really spiritual too. after church we ate at a members house us 4 missionaries and my comp couldn't finish his dessert because he was soo full, and we all encouraged him on, but then i shared a spiritual thought on enduring to the end, and related it to eating a dessert. guess who finished their dessert! :P on our way back home that night, we passed the two old ladies who we sitting on these steps and as we kept climbing these 100 billion stairs straight up this tall steep hill, they stopped us and ask who we were and so we then started the convo and turned out her husband passed away about a year ago, so we then showed his the video Because of Him   (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S3TI4bYerU)   but in Spanish. and helped her understand that she could see her husband again. during this time a neighbor named maricela and her 9 year old daughter karen came and listened too. well after we finished that little lesson, it started pouring outside out of nowhere and thunder out of nowhere so we all went inside to wait the rain and ended up teaching about the book of Mormon, and after she told us that letting us teach her was one of the best decisions she made in a long time and she said we were different then all the other religious people that come by. that made me smile. when we went home we got a little lost but we eventually made it home. today was our pday and was the fist time in a long time that we were allowed to play soccer again in the mission, so the first thing we did was all play soccer, so i am soo ready to be pro when i get back. we played latinos against the greengos (americanos), I'm not even going to tell you who won because like i always say, I'm humble... okay we lost, but only by 9-10, okay sorry I'm just a little soccer happy. but that was pretty much my week. solo quiero decirles que amo este iglesia con todo mi corazon y es un bendicion estar aqui, se que la iglesia es verdadera.ELDER WASDEN
